democratic senate and the white house if it ever makes it there. >> liz breaelizabeth prann live. thank you. the american eagle flight out of dallas fort worth was headed to moline, illinois, overnight. smoke started to fill the cockpit after takeoff and that's when the flight had to be diverted to greenville, texas. a bus had to pick up the crew members and take them back to dallas. thankfully no one was hurt. the source of the smoke not known yet. an early morning air strike acted until he killed 5 afghan soldiers. the air strike will draw new verbal attacks from afghan president hamid karzai. he has been highly critical of the u.s. and nato and previously demanded end to all coalition air strikes unless they were first cleared by his government.

brand new information this morning the embattled region of crimea they will vote in a week when this should be part of ukraine or russia. this comes as negotiations are starting to look like a stalemate. peace talks with both sides stalling in paris. all parties agree it is important to resolve the issues through dialogue. >> we agreed to continue intense discussions in the coming days with russia, with the ukrainians in order to see how we can help normalize the situation, stabilize it and over come the crisis. >> this comes as the pentagon is boosting the nato presence sending fighter jets to the region to support all u.s.al guide defenses. the house takes up a vote today on a ukrainian aid package. brand new fox news polls are

out this morning and president obama's numbers are not looking good. when asked about the administration handling foreign policy especially the craigs in ukraine only 33 percent approve. last december it was 39 percent. they are discussing why the foreign policy ratings have hit a new low. i think when we protect our interest, when we defend our allies, when we act consistently people respect or in some cases fear us. when we act as though we are uninterested when the president doesn't pay attention when i think others pay attention -- t advantage of it. >> only 33 percent approve of what the president is doing. this is the first time it was

the atlantic ocean with her three young children in the back seat of her mini van. we are live in daytona beach, florida. they are just releasing new 911 calls. what are you hearing? >> this was a crazy story. it has so many elements. the story ended here at daytona beach for this expect ability fath mother of three drove the mini van into the ocean. her sister told a 911 dispatcher early in the day tuesday wilkerson was in florida to escape an abusive husband. she tried to call domestic violence shelters but was told they were all full. during that call they asked why they needed to do a wellness check. listen to this.

doug luzader has more for us. >> the white house says it is about flexibility. the last thing they needed were cancellation notices from insurance companies letting millions of americans know their current healthcare plans are no longer legal under obamacare. >> what is happening with insurance companies they are required to send cancellation letters to consumers 90-days before the new plans take effect. when you count back 90 days that is the height of campaign season. that's clearly what the white house was thinking about here. >> beyond that there are interesting poll numbers. how do you rate the government on the number of audits.

raisi raising hay. >> president obama knows he and others are facing a tough battle. he's pushing measures that would help like raising the minimum wage. it turns out what happens if workers got a little more money in the pot? they spend a little more money. which means that suddenly businesses have more customers. which means they make more profits. which means they can hire more workers. which means you get a virtuous cycle. that's common sense. >> the president wants to raise the federal minimum wage to 10.10 up from 7.25 an hour. 28 million people would benefit. some of the biggest companies say raising the minimum wage will hurt profit margins and lead to fewer jobs.
